Sanat Kumara uses it here to describe the soul under the guidance of the Higher Self. However, the Ascended Masters most often use the term to describe the astral shell, and this seems to be the way in which it was used in later times in Egypt, when religion had degenerated under the influence of false priests and the people became polarized to the psychic instead of spiritual planes.
