A spiritual order of Western saints and Eastern [[adept]]s who have reunited with the [[Spirit]] of the living God and who comprise the heavenly hosts. The idea of the Brotherhood was born in the [[mind of God]] through the universal Christ consciousness who was the Logos, the pure Light of the Great White Way. God the Father could not behold evil nor look upon iniquity, but through the Christ, he was in touch with every situation in the universe. The Christ-intelligence endowed the Father’s concept with the tangible Reality of the Great White Brotherhood. Thus was born the seamless garment of the universal Christ consciousness.

The Brotherhood is the hope of every man. It is God’s plan for the orderly expression of his love. It is his provision for the raising of the individual through the raising of the whole, as well as for the raising of the whole through the raising of the individual. Although spiritual in origin, the Great White Brotherhood maintains a very real contact with people on the earth today. Higher initiates are quite aware of their contact with the Brotherhood, whereas lesser initiates work and serve without any conscious knowledge of the contact. The Great White Brotherhood functions also on other planets and in other systems of worlds.

Every ascended master belongs to the Great White Brotherhood, and those who aspire to union with this Brotherhood must aspire to the Christ consciousness. It is the agency of God upon earth, and while it has been much maligned and misunderstood, it continues to function and will until every individual upon this earth attains his natural God-intended freedom. At the beginning of the New Year in 1968, beloved [[El Morya]] released a fifteen-point program of assistance, which the councils of the Brotherhood had determined to release to mankind during that year. These points sum up the purposes of the Brotherhood through the ages, and so we include them here in order that those who desire to place their hands firmly in the hands of the Brothers in White may understand specifically what they may do to further the divine plan for the earth and invoke the assistance that the heavenly hosts deem most important at this hour of world need.

ग्रेट वाइट ब्रदरहुड के दिव्यगुरु (ascended master), ईश्वर की अध्यक्षता में मानवता के उच्चतम उद्देश्यों की पूर्ति के लिए संगठित हुए हैं - ये प्रत्येक युग में, हर सभ्यता और धर्म से हैं और लोगों को शिक्षा, कला एवं विज्ञान, ईश्वरीय सिद्धांत आधारित सरकार (God-government) के क्षेत्रों में रचनात्मक उपलब्धियों के लिए प्रेरित करते रहे हैं ताकि मनुष्य समृद्ध जीवन जी सकें। ब्रदरहुड (Brotherhood) में दिव्यगुरूओं के कुछ विशेष देहधारी चेले (unascended chela) भी शामिल हैं। बुक ऑफ़ रेवेलेशन (Book of Revelation) में ईसा मसीह (Jesus Christ) ने श्वेत वस्त्र वाले इन संतों के बारे में अपने शिष्य जॉन (John the Beloved) को बताया था।[1]

उद्देश्य

ग्रेट वाइट ब्रदरहुड का मुख्य कार्य मानव जाति की चेतना को ज्ञान द्वारा फिर से जगाना जिस से ब्रह्माण्ड के सभी जीव एक दुसरे से जुड़े रहें - इस महत्वपूर्ण तथ्य की जानकारी मनुष्यों को देकर सम्पूर्ण मानवता की चेतना को एकीकृत करना तथा सृष्टि के नियम जो ब्रह्माण्ड के साथ साथ मनुष्य के जन्मचक्र एवं नियति को भी नियंत्रित करते हैं।

स्थापना करना

ब्रदरहुड (Brotherhood) का विचार ईश्वर के दिमाग (mind of God) में सार्वभौमिक/लौकिक चेतना लोगोस (Logos) या शब्द के माध्यम से पैदा हुई जो ग्रेट व्हाइट वे (Great White Way) का शुद्ध प्रकाश था। परमपिता परमेश्वर न तो बुराई देख सकते थे और न ही अन्याय। चेतना के माध्यम से वह पुरे ब्रह्मांड की प्रत्येक परिस्थति से वाकिफ थे। उन्होंने चैतन्य ज्ञान के इस विचार को ग्रेट व्हाइट ब्रदरहुड के रूप में स्थापित किया किया। और इस तरह अखंड सार्वभौमिक/लौकिक चेतना का जन्म हुआ।

ब्रदरहुड हर मनुष्य की आशा है। यह ईश्वर के प्रेम की क्रम से अनुसरण क्रिया है। इस नियम द्वारा सब व्यक्तियों के उत्थान के माध्यम से एक व्यक्ति का उत्थान होता है और एक व्यक्ति के उत्थान के माध्यम से सब व्यक्तियों उत्थान होता है। यह एक कारगर तरीका है जिसके माध्यम से ईश्वर गुप्त रूप से अपने चमत्कारों को संसार के प्रमुख लोगों तक पहुँचाता है।

हालाँकि ग्रेट वाइट ब्रदरहुड (Great White Brotherhood) की उत्पत्ति आध्यात्मिक स्तर पर हुई है, आज के युग में वे पृथ्वीवासियों से वास्तविक सम्बन्ध रखतें हैं। उच्च-दीक्षा प्राप्त लोग ब्रदरहुड के साथ संपर्क के बारे में भली भांति जानते हैं, अन्य लोग अनभिज्ञ होते हुए भी ब्रदरहुड के बताये हुए कार्य और सेवा करते हैं। ग्रेट वाइट ब्रदरहुड (Great White Brotherhood) अन्य ग्रहों तथा दुनिया की अन्य प्रणालियों में भी कार्य करते हैं।

सदस्य्ता

इस आध्यात्मिक भ्रातृत्व के सदस्य सूर्य की प्रकाश की किरणों की तरह देवत्व को दर्शाते हैं, प्रत्येक किरण परमेश्वर की चेतना का एक विशेष गुण दिखाती है तथा सभी शरीर धारण किये जीवात्माओं के लिए आध्यात्मिक उन्नति का रास्ता सरल करती है। इस भ्रातृत्व सदस्य अपने गुप्त ज्ञान के बारे किसी को नहीं बताते और ग्रेट व्हाइट ब्रदरहुड (Great White Brotherhood) के गुरुओं के निर्देशन में सेवा करते हैं।

ईसा मसीह (Jesus Christ) ग्रेट वाइट ब्रदरहुड के जाने माने सदस्य हैं। उनका सेवा से भरपूर जन्म सदियों की गहन तैयारी और सहस्राब्दियों के दिव्य इरादे की विशाल प्रदर्शन की पूर्ति थी। ब्रदरहुड के उच्च दीक्षा देने वालों को "लॉर्ड्स ऑफ द फ्लेम" (the Lords of the Flame) के रूप में जाना जाता है।

ब्रदरहुड के कार्य

प्रत्येक दिव्यगुरु ग्रेट वाइट ब्रदरहुड के सदस्य हैं, और जो लोग इस ब्रदरहुड के साथ जुड़ने की इच्छा रखते हैं उन्हें आत्मिक चेतना की आकांक्षा रखनी चाहिए। ब्रदरहुड के असंख्य कार्य हैं जिन के द्वारा वे मनुष्यों की मदद करते हैं और मनुष्यों को स्वयं से बचाते हैं, इसके बारे में बताना अभी संभव नहीं। वे पृथ्वी पर ईश्वर का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हैं। हालांकि कुछ लोग इसके बारे में गलत धारणा रखते हैं। वे तब तक अपना काम करते रहेंगें जब तक पृथ्वी पर हर एक मनुष्य मोक्ष की प्राप्ति नहीं कर लेता। अब हम ग्रेट व्हाइट ब्रदरहुड के दार्जिलिंग काउंसिल (Darjeeling Council) के सर्वोच्च प्रधान द्वारा निर्धारित लक्ष्यों के बारे में बात करते हैं।

१९६८ की शुरुआत में एल मोरया ने १५ विषयों का एक कार्यक्रम ज़ारी किया था। ब्रदरहुड की समितिओं ने १९६८ में ही इसे मनुष्यजाति तक पहुंचाने का निर्णय लिया था। ये सारे विषय ब्रदरहुड के उद्देश्यों का सारांश हैं। हमने उन सभी विषयों का यहाँ समावेश किया है ताकि जो लोग ब्रदरहुड के साथ मिलकर काम करना चाहते हैं वे यह जान पाएं कि ईश्वर की दिव्य योजना को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए उन्हें क्या करना है और इस जरूरत के समय में किस तरह वे ब्रह्मांडीय जीवों की मदद ले सकते हैं।

एल मोरया लिखते हैं:

इस समय की मानव जाति के ज़रूरतों से कौन इन्कार कर सकता है और किसे इन्कार करना चाहिए? यह हमारी गहन इच्छा है कि हम प्रत्येक मनुष्य की और सम्पूर्ण मानवता की सहायता कर पाएं ताकि मनुष्य ब्रह्मांडीय जीवों द्वारा दी गई सहायता को ग्रहण कर पाएं:

१. व्यक्तिगत सेवा को उस स्तर पर प्रस्तुत करना जिससे कि कम समझ वाले लोगों को स्पष्टा से समझ आ सके;

२. ब्रह्मांडीय नियम (cosmic law) की उच्च शिक्षाओं को उन लोगों तक सबसे आकर्षक तरीके से प्रस्तुत करना जो उन्हें समझने में सक्षम हैं;

३. हमारे ब्रह्मांडीय प्रसारण केंद्रों के माध्यम से मनुष्यों तक पदक्रम के अनुसार अधिक घनिष्ट संबंध बनाना;

४. सत्यनिष्ठा, न्याय और विश्वास को नए तरीके से सरकार, व्यवसाय, धार्मिक, वैज्ञानिक और कलात्मक प्रयासों से प्रचलित करना;

५. मनुष्यों के बीच ईश्वरीय दर्शन की शक्ति को बढ़ाकर उन लोगों की सहायता करना जिन्हें ब्रह्मांडीय जगत का अनुभव नहीं हुआ है;

६. सब लोगों का आध्यात्मिक विकास करना ताकि जब कभी भी उन्हें सेवा के लिए बुलाया जाए, वे उसे ईश्वर की इच्छा मान कर करने में आनंदित हों;

७. जिन लोगों को ईश्वर की इच्छानुसार चलना है, उनका ईश्वर में विश्वास बनाये रखना;

८. चेतना के सभी स्तरों पर मानव जाति की आध्यात्मिक आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करना;

९. ब्रह्मांडीय उद्देश्य की अभिव्यक्ति में तेजी लाने के लिए शांति और समझ को बढ़ावा देना;

१०. अतींद्रिय अनुभवों और आत्मिक मामलों के प्रति जागृत हुई नवीकृत दिलचस्पी को साधक की अंदर की दिव्यता को समझने में सहायता करना ताकि वह असंभव की खोज छोड़ कर अंतर्मुखी हो जाए और स्वयं की खोज करे;

११. ब्रह्मांडीय पदक्रम की महान कहानी को मानव जाति के सामने और अधिक स्पष्ट करना;

१२. आध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा के महान संग्रहों का निर्माण करना ताकि दिव्यगुरुओं के शिष्य मानव जाति की सेवा के लिए तथा मनुष्यों को दिव्यगुरूओं का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करने में इस ऊर्जा संग्रह का उपयोग कर सकें;

१३. कार्मिक बोर्ड (Karmic Board) से प्रकाश-रुपी नए उपहार लेना जो आध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा के इन संग्रहों को पदक्रम से जुड़े मनुष्यों को उचित शक्ति और ब्रह्मांडीय ज्ञान दें ताकि वे अपनी वार्षिक योजना को पूरा कर पाएं;
